For this final performance, students have been asked to memorize their lines. The scripts are very short and simple so this shouldn't be a difficult task compared to Taming of the Shrew or Julius Caesar! In case students lose their scripts between school and home, here is an electronic copy. There are 3 scripts in this document so your child will have to locate the one his/her pair chose: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B069oRMc-Oi0OE05bVdJdXg5eUk/view?usp=sharing
Many of the students are already memorized, but tomorrow is the deadline since it is our final dress rehearsal (no school Monday, and we perform a week from tomorrow on the 27th!).

The Humanities Vault students will give one final performance on Wednesday, May 27 at 1:15 p.m. They will be performing the partner scenes they've been working on in theatre arts as well as the composition pieces they're working on in music class. The performance will be in the sanctuary at Dominion and will last approximately one hour. Hope to see you there!
Our final unit this semester will focus on Chekhovian (also called open-ended) scenes. Each student will choose a partner and a script (there are several to choose from). Though the script is written, each pair will decide the context (who, what, where, when, why) of the scene. With permission, you may add or change aspects of the script as well. We will perform these at the end of the semester!
