A reminder to students that you must be off-book (i.e. have ALL your lines memorized!) by next class: November 17.
Here is a detailed description of the costumes and props needed for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. I broke it down by student so you can see what your child will need here.
Make sure you label anything your child brings in so we know who it belongs to! Also, If you have any of the props on our prop list please let me or Mrs. Brembeck know. *NOTE: Our first dress rehearsal is December 1, so please have all costume pieces by then! PROPS NEEDED

Students should be working on memorizing their lines for the play at home. Last week they were given a script to keep at home. Here is an electronic copy of the cut script. This is going to be a fun play!

The performances last Thursday were a success! Thanks to those who donated items and to those who were able to attend (and to those cheering from afar!). The kids had a lot of fun. If you were able to get either performance on video or if you have any pictures, please pass them along. I know many parents would love to see them.
For our next unit, we will be combining the two prep school classes to put on The Best Christmas Pageant Ever written by Barbara Robinson. Costumes for this show will be fairly simple (mostly just regular street clothes), though we will send out prop needs once we have a list together. The performance will be on Thursday, December 15, with the time TBD (mostly likely it will begin around 1pm). By then we will be back in our regular building, so the performance will be in the sanctuary at Dominion Academy. Feel free to contact me or Alyssa Brembeck with any questions. |
