The Humanities Vault drama class has begun a new project. We've moved on from a historical tragedy (which the kids had a blast performing!) to an actual comedy: Taming of the Shrew. This silly play, like the last one we did, takes Shakespeare's story and makes it kid-friendly while still using many of the Bard's original lines. This is the same play that the high school class is performing this year, too! In fact, I'm hoping the Shakespeare class will come watch the Humanities Vault students perform during their dress rehearsal so they can give feedback (that performance will probably be on December 8 or December 10 and you are welcome to attend!).
We are planning to perform this play on Monday, December 15 at 12:30. I will keep you posted if anything changes, but those interested in attending should plan on that date and time.
