“In a way he had died in that room; at least something had happened and the bright little silversmith’s apprentice was no more. He stood there again at the threshold, but now he was somebody else,” (p. 175). Johnny undergoes a major life change as a result of his accident. This forever changes the course of his life. Describe a time when you went through such a physical or emotional life change. What happened? How did your life change as a result? What did you learn from this experience?

When my sister, Marlow, died it changed mine and my families life. We all learned that god cared for all of us since there were so many people that helped us when we were sad. My families life changed by knowing that we had a sibling that was no longer with us. My sister changed my whole families life.

A time I went through an emotional moment was when I was ten years old. When I was ten on the day April 14, 2020 my mother, Robbin had passed away. Robbin was only thirty three when she had passed and her cause of death was a drug overdose. My life was changed forever because my mom was the only family that I saw.

When my grandpa died it was very hard because he was always laughing and playing with me then all of a sudden he was gone, I also lost a friend to the same disease that my grandpa had and it was brain cancer, they both were very close to me but I knew God had a purpose for them.

A time I went through a hard time is when my aunt died to cancer. Nobody in my family I really knew had died. I was sad but I learned that bad things happen in life.

When I was six, my dad died. When he died this really changed my nana, my dad was her only son, not only that they were upset knowing that me and my brother would have to live without a father. But every year we set out balloons for him

During the pandemic, I experienced a lot of life changes, both good and bad. The pandemic was very hard for me because it was the first time I had to grapple with loneliness when I couldn't see or talk to any of my friends, and afterwards I learned to appreciate the people around me more and be more grateful for good friendships. The pandemic also taught me to be grateful for what I already had and my home and family. This was also when I began to realize that I was "Growing up" and I was very scared. After the pandemic, I was a different person, because I now knew how to deal with hard things. Comments are closed.
