"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me".I said this was right at first but after careful consideration I have changed my mind.I think that someone can think what ever they want positive or negative.

I have changed my mind about "If you are innocent, you should have no need to fear the judicial system." I think that this is false because sometimes the judicial system can get the wrong answer to your case and you can be punished. Most of the time the judicial system will get the right answer, but people make mistakes. Some people don't worry because they know what to say to protect themselves, but not everyone can do that.

I changed my mind on adults understanding more things than children. I changed because in the bible it says that the children will understand Jesus better than the adults will because the children wont get angry at Jesus for what he was doing. The children see him as a nice man while the Romans and adults see him as a mean man that only wants fame by saying wrong things about God.

After reading this book, I did not change my mind on any of the questions we talked about. Even though these questions are far from black and white, I have a strong opinion in the context of these questions, even if I feel like the answer is somewhere in the middle. In fact, reading this novel has supported my answers to the questions.

The only point that has changed for me was 'if you are innocent you have no fear of the judicial system'. This is not completely true like in To Kill a Mocking Bird. Tom Robinson is accused of a crime he did not commit but yet he is still facing the judicial system, just because he is a different race then other people. Tom Robinson has a good chance of being called guilty even if he is innocent.

To add to this people may think that some things are worse than others but still know that what they say is not always true. This is true until someone says something very offensive that should be dealt with like a threat or other examples such as pointing out mean things about there body, family, love life.

Even if you are innocent you can still fear the judicial system, Tom Robinson was put in jail even though he was innocent. Even now we can fear the judicial system because they are doing some questionable things.
