Compare the love story in Cyrano de Bergerac to another love story you are familiar with (such as a fairytale like Beauty and the Beast, etc.). How are the stories similar? How do the themes in each story connect?

That at first the beauty and the same did not love the beast, just as Roxane did with Cristian and in the end they ended up falling in love. Yes they connect but in certain parts they do and in others they don't

Cyrano's story is similar to Romeo and Juliette. They are similar in the sense that there is a man who loves a woman and wants her to love him. But it's different because in Romeo and Juliet, there is just one man, and in Cyrano, there are two men "competing" for the love of the same woman.

Cyrano de Bergerac is kinda similar to the little mermaid because Ariel falls in love with prince eric but Ariel is a mermaid. She does everything she can to be normal so she can be with Eric. She sacrifices her voice to be with prince Eric while Cyrano sacrifices his life to be with Roxane

Cyrano de Bergerac is similar to Beauty and the Beast because both Cyrano and the Beast are not very attractive. The main female characters in both do not like the male character. They both end up in love but in Beauty and the Beast they tell each other and get together but in Cyrano de Bergerac he only tells her in disguise as another person and when he's dying.

Not when he's dying actually but she figures it out.

I think I can compare Cyrano de Bergerac with Beauty in the Beast in some ways. Cyrano is unattractive, like the beast, and Roxanne is beautiful, like Bell. But in Beauty and the Beast they end up falling in love and getting married, but in Cyrano de Bergerac, Roxanne loves someone else, and Cyrano is left with an unrequited love. They both have the theme of loving someone beyond their physical looks.

Cyrano de Bergerac has similar details to beauty and the beast. One of these details is how a beautiful woman falls in love with a man who is handsome on the inside but ugly on the outside. But, one of the differences is that beauty and the beast have a happy ending, but Cyrano dies at the end leaving Roxane to grieve again.
