One of my favorite quotes about how important it is to be thankful is this one:
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow,” (Melody Beattie) What are you thankful for this holiday? Be specific - we are all thankful for food, family, and friends - why specifically are you thankful for these things?

The three things I am thankful for this holiday are Jesus, family, and food.

I am very grateful for my family this holiday, specifically my cousins Josiah and Isaiah. I love all my family, but these two cousins of mine are some of the only people in the world that I trust. My family has been having a lot of gatherings in the past week, and I don't particularly enjoy going to them, due to the amount of loud and noisy people there. Thankfully, my cousins were always there, and because of them, I could keep going, so I am very thankful that they cared enough to be there with me.
