Look up the definition of humility. An important theme one could take from the novel we are about to read is that humility is an essential trait for human beings to have: we must be humble in how we interact with people, particularly people who are different from us. (I think of Micah 6:8, which calls for us to walk humbly with God.) What do you think about this? Can you describe a situation in which you or a loved one learned how to exercise humility (or should have)?

I remember when I was a little kid I was a trouble maker at my old school and I would get a lot of pink slips and I feel like I was not getting in trouble enough or I just could not get in big big trouble until they called my mom ad dad and they had to come to school and. Well lets just say I was humbled pretty fast. Because never got a oink slip at that school ever again in class.

I think humility is extremely important. Without humility people think they are better than everyone else become egotistical and start to be jerks. A time I would say I needed humility is sometimes during basketball I try to do too much or I get angry at the other teams and that is all because I do not like my ego taking a hit; and I just have to understand that I need to be humbled sometimes and I need to have humility.

Humility is definetley very important, it is needed to build character. I have been humbled a few times, in sports it happens with soccer for example, I have met some amazing players, Hayden, Abraham, Issac, Peter, and they have all humbled me. It is what i needed to show me that they're is always better players out there. I do have a bit of an ego but i don't think it is extreme I do dribble a lot in soccer and it is something i have started to do less as i go on. I have practiced humility when playing soccer I dont try and talk badly against other teams because I believe in karma and I dont want bad things to happen because that will be very embarrising. 1/17/2024 03:09:32 pm
Humility is important. First, it allows selflessness that may increase generous and kind deeds. Secondly, it is of value because it may lead to having greater dignity for a better world. It helps us to Recognize and acknowledge the strengths of others. One of the few situations in which I have learned how to exercise humility is when I play Basketball or soccer. I almost always try to practice humility. There are a few reasons why I do practice humility. First, the Bible tells us to practice humility as it says here in Colossians 3:12, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience." one of the last reasons why I practice humility is because when I do not, I usually end up versus another person, which is not the kind of problematic situation I would like to be in.

I think humility is very important. Especially with relationships humility is needed; nobody likes an overly prideful person because they always treat you like you are weak and much smaller than them. They think they are the best and that you are not at all significant. It can really damage relationships and pull people apart. Pride can also blind people , they don't see whats right in certain situations they just see whats best for them.

Humility is absolutely an amazing quality that we should all learn. The Bible states that humility comes before wisdom. Like Peter said, Pride can pull people apart, but a humble, and therefore a wise person, can bring people together. I need to learn humility in dealing with other people. I can get fed up with other people quickly because I see them as too stuck in their ways, stubborn, or dumb to change when they need to or do something better. I am working on changing this in my life before it hurts anyone else I care about.

I think humility is important. I can't remember any times that I have been humbled at the moment, but I know that it happened. Comments are closed.
